The Schattberg X-press is hard to miss when you're in Saalbach. The 8-seater gondola lift takes you in two stages (middle station transfer) directly to the western summit of Schattberg. Once at the top, you can choose between an easy, longer than average run and a moderately difficult slope back to the middle station or a difficult black slope. In the valley, there are several ski schools, a bus stop and a parking garage. At the mountain station, you can recharge your batteries at the Sky Rest mountain restaurant.
