As the name suggests, this 8-person gondola lift takes you from Hinterglemm to the western summit of the Schattberg. The ascent to the mountain station at 2,096 m is in two stages; you can get off at the middle station and choose easy or intermediate slopes into the valley. If you decide to go to the top, you will be rewarded not only with a breathtaking mountain panorama, but also a fantastic, intermediate run. From the west summit, you can reach the east summit via a slope. Then hop on the 8-seater Schattberg Sprinter lift for the way back.
